Anand Padmanabhan received his BE degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai, India in 2000, his MS and PhD degrees from The University of Iowa in 2003 and 2006 respectively. Anand is currently working as a Research Scientist in CIGI and his primary research interests include the development of large-scale distributed environments based on Grid computing, multi-agent systems, and P2P systems. In particular, he focuses on developing tools and algorithms to enable cyberinfrastructure environments. In CIGI, he is a technical lead for the work on Grid troubleshooting and information systems. He is a staff member of the Open Science Grid (OSG), actively contributing to OSG troubleshooting and security effort.
